Sillinger inflatable anti-pollution booms benefit from the design and experiments carried out with the dynamic SIRENE skimmer, which is the most powerful device used up to now. It also benefits from all practical and theoretical know-how acquired at an international level in the floating booms field. The POLLUGUARD range comprises six models.

The Sillinger booms design allows the fastest limit speed of efficeiency theoretically available: over 0.33 m/s thanks to:

1. its cylindrical profile with flexible edge,

2. a perfect balance between water and air draught,

3. a perfect flexibility which constantly adapts the boom to the swell moving.

Use:

Sillinger booms are able to support a stress of safety factor 3, especially with devices of 200 meters long, under conditions of sea Force 9 (wind : 90 km/h; swell: 7 meters and 6 knots strems). All POLLUGUARD models are compatible one with the other.
