The effective recovery of a hydrocarbon slick requires, in addition to the recovery system itself, the use of a certain number of associated items of equipment.

For this reason, Sillinger's Anti-Pollution Department has developed independent but compatible equipment which can be used to form complete recovery lines, including:

• the SIRENE dynamic oil spill recovery system
• POLLUGUARD flexible floating barriers
• POLLUTANK flexible marine tanks

All this Anti-Pollution equipment is characterised by its inflatable structure in high resistance hypalon allowing:

• rapid operational use
• reduced storage requirements
• extremely simple maintenance

Numerous French government bodies, such as the National Navy, the Sea Ministry, the C.E.D.R.E, and the Independent Port of Marseille, therefore use SILLINGER antipollution equipment within the framework of the POLMAR Plan.
